There has always been a huge difference between men and women when it comes to preferences. A good example of this is a choice of movie. Women prefer movies about love, passion and heartache. On the contrary, men prefer movies about action, war and anything that involves thrill and excitement.

Men are very fond of action movies because it gives them an adrenaline rush. The fast-paced scenes and mind-boggling stunts portrayed in movies get their blood pumping and boiling. This must be the reason why men love to watch movies about war. The explosions, gunshots, and relentless exchange of firepower between two countries at war can satisfy their craving for excitement.

Because men like to watch action-themed movie, we can conclude that they would also prefer war and strategy games. The computer gaming industry is continuously reaching new heights and this is because of the improved graphics, realistic sounds, easy controls and fun game play made by game developers.

A war or strategy game is no different from a real war. In a strategy war game, you have an army of soldier ready to do your bidding. You can equip them with firearms from handguns, to the most powerful bazookas. In addition to giving them firearms, you can also give them body defense by customizing their armor or uniform.

As the player of a war strategy game, you assume the role of the military commander. And just like in real military battles, you can command your troops to attack certain areas of the enemy’s fortress. You are the one responsible for devising plans on how to win the war. Some war strategy games even give you the power to command the most powerful military equipment like fighter planes, tanks, and other artilleries. The fate of your entire army lies on your hand, and the strategies that you devise.

Most war strategy games today are very interesting because of the realistic sound effects. People who are fond of war games will truly appreciate the improvements on most war strategy games. At first, you may not be very successful with your military campaigns but you’ll get better with continuous play and practice.

But some people are very impatient when playing war strategy games. These people feel that to win a war strategy game, you need to have a lot of information and tips about the game. Upcoming Tie-In Games For PC

Any time there is a popular movie, TV show, or comic book series it is a good bet there will be at least one tie-in video game made. Like with any adaptation, the quality of these games varies dramatically. Some are barely worth playing and definitely not worth purchasing, while others become landmark games, breaking records and expectations. The only way to know if a game is any good is to wait for it to be released and either read reviews or check it out yourself. Here are three PC games coming out this spring that are all tie-ins to popular franchises, and will all have judgment passed upon them once they are released.

The Walking Dead: The Game

The Walking Dead is both a comic book series and a successful TV show that follows survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Zombies are a longtime favorite subject for video games, so this tie-in is a natural progression of the franchise. This adventure game from Telltale Games is set to be released in April of 2012, and features a series of five “episodes” with the following episodes having staggered release dates. The game focuses on character development, and choices the player makes affect the storyline.

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock

Doctor Who is an immensely popular and long-running British TV show featuring a time-traveling alien and his human companions. The Eternity Clock is the newest video game tie-in to the series, and features voice work from the show’s actors. This is an action and puzzle-solving game with a 2-player co-op mode. It is developed by Supermassive Games and is also set to release in April.

Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones is a tie-in with the A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy books by George R. R. Martin, which has also been recently made into a popular TV show. The video game was developed by Cyanide with input from the author himself, and is an RPG that parallels the story of the novels. The player has a choice between two original characters, with some actors from the TV show voicing their characters in the game as well. The game has a set release date of May 15.
